Fees

On Akabbo, it is free to sign up, create a campaign, and contribute to the campaigns you care about. However, to provide you with a service worth your time, we have to charge a 10% for every campaign that fundraises on the platform. This fee enables us to facilitate payments processing for mobile money and bak cards. It also keeps the servers running so that the service does not go down when you need it most.

However, we are aware that this is a truly difficult period, especially given the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in Uganda. As such, we shall waive all fees on the platform for campaigns running on the platform from June 1, 2021 to July 31, 2021.
